Here at Beth's Powwow Threads you can chose from a selection of ready made items or request custom orders. I specialize in Fancy Shawl Regalia, Grass Dance Regalia. Detailed applique, Baby items and Ribbon Clothes. Please view my photo gallery and you will discover that I also make other regalia, baby items and more. Be assured that my services are top quality. The applique work is all hand made by myself, backed in heat n bond lite to strengthen the edges. Then the applique work is sewn onto the regalia, finishing the design and adding further detail. All fringe is either yarn (grass dance only) and / or ribbon. I use 1/8 th inch or 1/4 inch ribbon as it looks better and is fuller when finished. All ends are then melted to prevent fraying. If request I will use other fringe. I do bead work if time permits. Bead work will be done with the double needle technique or loom. I also do work with dentalium shells such as earrings. Custom Orders
When ordering a custom order you chose the colours, design and style. I use my artistic talent to put it together. I will then e-mail you a sketch. Either you approve the sketch or we discuss it further until you are happy. I can call anywhere in the continental US or Canada to further aid the process. If you have a specific design created by you, gifted to you or a family design I can use that. I will mark the design as such and it's uniqueness will be respected.
